While Night of the Wind's 2002 edition focused primarily on the tornado as it affected Lenawee County, a revised and expanded edition is being completed for release in the spring of 2023. Enlarged from 263 to 419 pages, the second edition of Night of the Wind includes more interviews and photos of the entire southern Michigan region, including Hillsdale and Branch counties. The new edition will also include a comprehensive list of the victims from the entire Upper Midwest related to the 1965 outbreak. The National Weather Service was able to determine 266 lost their lives as a result of the April 10-12 outbreak. The author was able to identify 262 victims through exhaustive research.
